Īt Foundation facilities, SCPs are studied by scientists to develop containment methods for them. This is accomplished through censorship of mass media, and by dosing all eyewitnesses with amnestic drugs which erase their memories of anomalous events. If an anomaly is too widespread, elusive, or otherwise inaccessible, containment usually consists of suppressing all knowledge of the SCP from the public. Whenever an SCP anomaly is discovered, teams of undercover Foundation agents (often called Mobile Task Forces, or MTFs) are deployed to either collect and transport the object to one of the organization's many secret facilities, or to contain it at its location of discovery if transportation is not possible. All information regarding the existence of the Foundation and SCPs are strictly withheld from the general public in order to prevent mass hysteria that would supposedly occur if they were leaked, and allow human civilization to continue functioning under a masquerade of "normalcy". If left uncontained, many of the more dangerous anomalies will pose a serious threat to humans or even all life on Earth. They include living beings and creatures, artifacts and objects, locations and places, abstract concepts, and incomprehensible entities which display supernatural abilities or other extremely unusual properties. Despite their extremely secretive nature, the Foundation is entrusted by governments around the world to capture and contain various unexplained paranormal phenomena that defy the known laws of nature (referred to as "anomalies", "SCP objects", "SCPs", or informally as "skips"). The fictional setting centers around the findings and activities of the SCP Foundation: an international secret society consisting of a scientific research institution with a paramilitary intelligence agency to support their goals. The SCP universe has inspired numerous fan-made adaptations in widely varying forms of media including books, comics, music, video games, animated and live-action short films. The wiki's literary works have been praised for their ability to convey horror through a quasi-scientific and academic writing style, as well as for their high standards of quality. The website also contains "Foundation Tales", short stories featuring various characters and settings in the SCP universe. The majority of works on the SCP Wiki consist of thousands of SCP files: mock confidential scientific reports that document various SCPs and associated containment procedures. The collaborative writing project operates on the wiki-like website SCP Wiki, and includes elements of many genres such as horror, science fiction, and urban fantasy. Within the website's shared fictional universe, the SCP Foundation is a secret organization that is responsible for capturing, containing, and studying various paranormal, supernatural, and other mysterious phenomena (known as "anomalies" or "SCPs"), while also keeping their existence hidden from the rest of society. Or to say it in non SCP terms, this series really does a good job at "show don't tell" and letting people speculate. The SCP Foundation is a collaborative writing wiki project. While the Camera appears to be an SCP all of its own, being able to reveal both the Overlords form, and its followers, but, if we're to believe the mirror in the basement, or whatever was infront of it, is the overlord (which I think personally it is), directly seeing the overlord either drives whoever is using the camera mad, or it allows the overlord to influence them far easier. While Overlord is seemingly a Keter class or Apollyon class SCP, a massive creature invisible to the human eye, directly influencing people within is vicinity (possibly those with weak enough minds), with it also giving anomalous properties to followers, with the people suspended in the air by its tendrils being the invisible entities, protecting the larger creature. It would probably be a Keneq or ehki disruption class as well, affecting whatever space it inhabits, meaning it would be hard to contain given how severe its influence was shown to be. Coming back to this entire series both the animated and Live action, I have to say, "Overlord" and "Dollhouse" are really fitting names for the two live action SCPs, given what we're shown.ĭollhouse is a non-Euclidian space that directly affects both people and objects inside of it, moving them around and seemingly opening the space up at random, all originating from the laptop the MTF squad found, allowing whoever is at the laptop to, like a child, interact with everyone and everything inside, like dolls.

I guess you might as well clean up while you can, because when you are faced with real competition, like when it goes recreational, it will be about quality, and branding it. The thc value of one run you tested, and then used results to make a menu is mis leading, regardless if it's all clones, every run is slightly different. Their ignorance is no excuse for this to be called medical grade, particularly because you aren't proudly posting how clean your cannabis is with full disclosure of your reports. Maybe skip the jars and add a 12percent bavida packet to get to and keep at correct moisture level.I realize lots of customers either don't care or much more likely don't know, and give 5 stars on staff, and how great the flowers are. When so much has a harsh grassy taste, you dried to fast. If you really are hand trimming, that's silly, your quality does not warrant, and that's not what a hand trimmed bud looks like. Now, assuming you flushed it, the flavor via terpenes, profile is on full display, you should see a glistening trichome covered bud. Dry' at 50 percent humidity for a while, then bins burbed daily, eventually you want aprox 12percent moisture in acured bud. Curing is the make or break of the final product. Too often there is just a harshness and crackling from residual nutrients, black, or Grey at best ash, not good, means it's full of nutrients. Do it your way, which smells and tastes like grass,or hey, burns throat. Eventually the smell is of the natural terpenes. First dry in 50 percent humidity, when done with that, move to curing tubs, burbed a couple of times a day. That's why you don't display all the residual contaminates and just the thc, cbd, etc. The problem for me is almost every 3$blue jar meant to protect the product from degradation is nonsense when you should save that money, and wait until your head grower learns how to flush the product correctly, I'm sure your ppms are over 300 in your final run off, can't imagine what a slurry would read at harvest. Let's pretend you do, and you dumped no less than 500k in your growing facility only, not state of the art but, you should be able to rock it. In the literature, they are boasting about state of the art growing facility. My problem is not so much the cost, though your cartridges are running about 1/2g shy for 70 dollars, but really what bothers me is the final product. I found the orientation silly, but if it's law, fine.I give 1 star for friendly people, and 1star for a pleasant and professional run retail end. Finally we have medical cards and a small handful of dispensaries. I am a long time user of cannabis, it's medicinal and recreational value has been quite obvious to the majority of the world forever. The idea of breaking apart the Fibonacci Sequence isn’t that complex – but the real question became addressing the third dimension. In this case, the Fibonacci Sequence was utilized to generate the fundamental building blocks of the architectural composition. Because of this, constraints had to be created. The site became somewhat of a “tabula rasa”, in the sense of design constraints. The site is somewhat barren, with very few elements to connect with, contextually. It is a parking lot, approximately 50’-0” (width) by 120’-0” (length). The theoretical site is located in Galveston, Texas.
Walt Disney World and Aulani, a Disney Resort and Spa, are our “second homes,” and our travel plans regularly include Walt Disney World, Disney Cruise Line, Aulani, and Disneyland Paris! Since then, I have been fortunate to be able to feed my love of all things Disney with 3-4 trips each year with family and friends to different Disney destinations! runDisney race weekends have become events that we look forward to annually as a family. Little did we know what an impact that experience would have on our family and our lives! The budget was tight, and we saved and planned for years. We went on our “obligatory one and only” family Disney World trip several years ago when the girls were 3 and 4 years old. I am a career higher education professional with a passion for planning Disney vacations. Paul, Minnesota, with my husband and two daughters. If you then want to try for a more popular resort or room, keep checking back and see if something has opened up there is always a lot of flux in room availability as people cancel.I’m a Disney fanatic! I currently live in St. You’ll need to be willing to settle for what’s available. Not all resorts or room types will have any discounts to begin with, and the most popular resorts will book up fastest. In order to get these discounts you MUST be flexible. If there is a severe drop in travel due to the economy or other factors, you MIGHT save up to 45% in low season and up to 30% in peak season. If you’re going in peak season, discounts will be slimmer, like 5%-20%, and on fewer resorts and rooms. In an ordinary year, if you are going in low season, you might be able to save 10%-30%.Then use these guidelines to get an idea: For budget purposes, the best idea is to wait until the “rack rates” (full price rates) come out for the year you’re going. Please don’t count on specific prices when planning your budget way in advance. The rates almost always go up each year, and there is no guarantee that the same level of discount will be offered from one year to the next. We don’t provide the actual discounted prices from past promotions. Blackout dates are not particularly predictable and don’t always apply to every resort, so we don’t always list them. There may have been additional blackout dates (dates when the special discount did not apply) that are not noted for instance, typically Easter and Thanksgiving are blacked out, plus a few days on either side of the holiday. The chart below lists the time periods when Disney has offered major resort room and/or vacation package discounts to the public in the past few years, the approximate dates they became available, and the expiration date, when known. After that, Kawanishi-san has a dream about a woman who he asks to become his kindness. There was another problem, too: kindness is in the title. To be honest, I couldn't think of any American painkiller ads at all. But I couldn't think of any American painkiller ads that really had any cultural relevance. The dentist appreciates his attempt at humor, and laughs. That kind of pop culture pun must have come to him completely naturally. He works at a company that publishes magazines about television, and they always have a bunch of TVs turned on. Kawanishi-san is supposed to be smart and funny, and here he is, making a joke. It's a single line, but it matters so much. It had a very famous ad campaign in Japan with the slogan: Bufferin is made half from kindness. Kawanishi-san replies, “Are they made half from kindness?”īufferin is a low-grade pain-killer much like aspirin. Or she can give him stronger pain-killers. After Kawanishi-san gets his second tooth extracted, the dentist says that if his teeth hurt later, he can take Bufferin. He spends a good amount of time sitting at his cute dentist's office, recollecting his relationship with Ito-san. It's almost Christmas, he has a few cavities, and he is in the process of breaking up with his boyfriend. “Cavities and Kindness” is the story of Kawanishi-san. It bothered me, and I didn't know what to do. But there was one tiny scene that really stuck out. Some sloppiness about tenses here and there. When I started editing there were, of course, tons of problems, but most of them weren't so serious. I don't remember the initial translation process, but I feel like it went relatively smoothly. I remembered that I had “Cavities and Kindness” in a folder somewhere on my computer, and I thought to myself, “Wow, I should finish that.” I finished a first draft of the story and then didn't look at it again until March of the following year, when I got an email from Michael Emmerich saying that Words Without Borders was looking for a Japanese piece to include in their queer issue. This was in October of 2013, almost ten years after Don't Laugh at Other People's Sex debuted. I just thought it was a really great story and that it would be nice to work on something short that I could finish and show to people. The next day I started translating “Cavities and Kindness” without even thinking about what I would do with it. I bought the book, took it home, stayed up later than I should have that night, and finished the whole thing. Takahashi says that “it is the name of a woman who lives in an advanced capitalist society” and that “it signifies her will to live on gallantly in this world.” You see Yamazaki, then Naoko, but then the name just keeps going. In Japanese, the cola part comes like the punch line to a joke. There's the name Naoko, which is also quite common. The hyphen is a way to let the English reader know that two things are being forced together. In Japanese, the family name comes first, so it's Yamazaki Nao-Cola. Translators talk a lot about things that are untranslatable, and the visual effect of seeing this name in Japanese is completely lost in English. He wonders, “So, what kind of name is 'Nao-Cola,' or 'Naoko + Cola?' Why would she pick such a strange name?” In his afterword to the book, author and critic Genichiro Takahashi actually says he knew this book would win the Bungei Prize based on the title and the author's name alone. The unrelated short story, “ Cavities and Kindness” is appended to the end. The title piece is narrated by a nineteen-year-old art school student, Mirume Isogai, who recounts his relationship with Yuri, his teacher, who is twenty years his senior. The book's title is also really good: Don't Laugh at Other People's Sex. But I don't know if I could have connected my friend's story about an impressive book by a young female author who won the prestigious Bungei Prize, for new authors, with the physical book staring me in the face in some bookstore, if not for that name. I had heard about the book from a friend, and I knew it won an award, and then I happened upon it in a bookstore. I first picked up Don't Laugh at Other People's Sex because of the author’s cool name. Instead, you should move it to the tax-free pension mode. But the more they have conscious memory, the more secure they will be when playing under pressure and the better they’ll be at the piece in general. Honestly, most professional classical musicians do not memorize on this level of detail, but they probably have it visualized on a certain level. Without playing it, they can walk through the piece and know what finger is doing what and what note is being played. But a person who thoroughly knows the music consciously can see the music and fingers in their head in all it’s details. So a thoroughly trained musician will have a stronger conscious memory than a lesser trained amateur, even if the former does not make an intentional effort at conscious memorization. It also depends in part on how well one knows their instrument, whether or not they know music theory, and how aware they are of what is happening musically in the piece. We’ve already talked about how you know if your muscles remember a piece, but how do you know whether or not you have it in your conscious memory? People have varying degrees of aptitude towards this kind of memory. Conscious memory is stored in the temporal lobe, muscle memory in the cerebellum. Playing from memory must be a combination of both muscle memorization and conscious memorization, two very different sections of the brain. Many mistakenly accept this as having something memorized. When you can play a piece of music, and your mind can wander while your fingers know exactly where to go just like a driverless car, you’re seeing muscle memory in full action. When a movement is repeated enough times, the muscle memory kicks in and takes over. Muscle memory is that part of the brain that records movements. But playing music from memory relying mostly on muscle memory is risky business as muscle memory is great at home, but gets shaky under pressure. One’s ability to play an instrument (or do practically anything physically) absolutely depends on muscle memory. It is the complete reliance on muscle memory. Children are especially vulnerable to it, but it can happen to accomplished adult players if they’re not careful. This is the trap that many have fallen into. After a few failed attempts, you choose either to skip the entire section, or, more probably, you go back to the beginning of the section, or worse, back to the beginning of the whole piece, desperately hoping that when you arrive at that passage again your fingers will be able to remember it. It may have been precipitated by a mistake, or perhaps not, but you now find yourself stuck and unable to remember a passage that you’ve played a thousand times and never had any trouble with remembering in the past. Suddenly in the middle of your performance you draw a blank. You’ve played it from memory so many times you could play it in your sleep. It may have been as an adult or as a child, but you’re performing something that you’ve practiced a ton. How many classical guitarists and musicians out there can relate to this experience. Say Goodbye to Memory Slips: How to Memorize Music This is the original thread (the description is longer). Do you make an effort to find them or what happened to them, or do you go on with your life, salvaging, exploring, and listening to your own breathing as you make your way through the still graveyard of humanity? You only have a faint idea where their bunker is and you know you wouldn't have enough air to get there in one stretch. One day, they stop signing in/going on the air and you decide to find out what happened to them. They're your only company in an otherwise dead world, and they're holed up somewhere else, exactly like you. You've known them for years, but have never met them in person. Your only contact with other people would be someone who you talk to frequently over what's left of the internet or some old radio-type thing. The lack of air preserved the billions of bodies worldwide relatively longer than they otherwise would have been, and now the empty planet is a mausoleum of dried up human husks littering streets and buildings. You move around empty schoolyards, apartment buildings, and skyscrapers. If you forget it, you might end up fucked unless you can somehow find air. You have entire cities open to exploration and treasure hunting. Their reward was solitude on a lifeless, airless planet. Those who survived were the people who had planned ahead, who had planned for the impossible. People simply fell where they stood or sat at the time. No one could have imagined a quieter apocalypse. The world outside was brought to a complete standstill when the air started dissipating. When the game starts, you're alone in a bunker. It typically costs $300-$800 or more for an aluminum folding ladder that separates into two pieces to support an aluminum platform/plank.For example, the Werner Portable Work Platform holds 225 pounds and costs $35-$45, while at Amazon, the Vika 2-in-1 Workbench and Scaffold Model 21010 holds up to 500 pounds, includes a 3-outlet power strip and costs $150. If just a little more height is needed, a workbench that converts into a low scaffold can cost $35-$350 or more depending on size and capacity.Adams Rentals in New Jersey charges $115-$135 a week for a 10'-15' rolling tower kit. Rent All of Glynn in Georgia charges $15 weekly or $22 monthly for a 5' high, 5' wide and 7' long scaffolding section $6.50 weekly or $9.50 monthly for a 7' aluminum walk-board and $5 weekly or $7.50 monthly for each 8" caster/wheel. For example, Best Rental in Colorado charges $18 a day or $52 a week for a 6' high and 6' long wheeled scaffolding section (known as bakers scaffolding) that adjusts from 28"-70" high, with stabilizers at $2 daily or $7 weekly and guard rails at $3 daily or $8 weekly. Rates may be daily, weekly or monthly and by the piece (separate charges for each frame section, each wheel and each guard rail) or as a complete kit. Renting scaffolding can cost $15-$50 a day or $40-$150 or more a week, depending on location and the size and type of scaffolding.Scaffolding can vary from a plank secured between two ladders to an erector-set-like metal and wood structure, usually with steel or aluminum tubes. SWS can also provide additional services such as transport and delivery, design and layout as well as OSHA compliance training. The variety of conventional scaffolding and masonry equipment and accessories allow customized solutions for your specific job site requirements. In addition, Southwest Scaffolding sells masonry equipment such as mixers and saws. We also sell conventional scaffolding accessories and planks. Southwest scaffolding’s inventory includes walk thru, ladder and half high frames. Southwest Scaffolding sells both new and used scaffolding in both the conventional scaffolding and Non-Stop Scaffolding. Non-Stop scaffolding will save you in set up time and increase productivity, resulting in much lower labor costs. The benefit to Non-Stop is that the work platform only has to be constructed once and as the masons progress up the wall, the scaffolding can be adjusted so that the masons are in optimal position to be productive. Non-Stop consists of a single work platform that climbs along vertical towers. Non-Stop Scaffolding is also called crank up or elevated platform scaffolding and can be built to almost any length and height. Non-Stop Scaffolding Masonry Scaffolding by Design In addition to frame scaffolding, we carry Non-Stop Scaffolding, which is a masonry specific scaffolding. Click here to see a copy of our scaffolding load capacity test. On average, they have a capacity of more than 39,000 lbs. We recently tested our 610-B frames stacked three sets high and place them under a load test at Texas A & M. We have made sure our scaffolding is up to the task. It must be able to hold up all the crews, equipment, brick, block, stone and mortar. We make sure our frames will carry the load and withstand the stress of a masonry job. Masonry applications require frames that have a high load capacity and considered heavy-duty. Our masonry scaffolding inventory consists of our SWS-610B 5′ X 6’4″ walk thru Safeway-style frames, SWS-620B walk-thru and ladder combo frames, SWS-634A 5’X6’7″ Waco-style scaffold frames and more. Because of this, the frames need to be tall and wide, and they need to be open in the middle so crews can walk through them. Masonry scaffolding needs to be suitable to build long working platforms to go across a wall that are wide enough to hold cubes of brick and block and allow crews to pass each other and carry a wheelbarrow across the platform. Southwest Scaffolding carries an extensive inventory of new and used masonry scaffolding for sale. If no engine is used, the argument is taken as a file. If this option is not specified then the input file ( -in argument) must contain a private key. If additional certificates are present they will also be included in the PKCS#12 output file. The order of credentials in a file doesn't matter but one private key and its corresponding certificate should be present. With the -export option this is a file with certificates and a key, or a URI that refers to a key accessed via an engine. This specifies the input filename or URI. The default encryption algorithm is AES-256-CBC with PBKDF2 for key derivation. Conversely, the options regarding encryption of private keys when outputting PKCS#12 input are relevant only when the -export option is not given. The PKCS#12 export encryption and MAC options such as -certpbe and -iter and many further options such as -chain are relevant only with -export. A PKCS#12 file can be created by using the -export option (see below). There are a lot of options the meaning of some depends of whether a PKCS#12 file is being created or parsed.
